All of our services include access to a professional staff 24 hours a day, seven days a week. What should my family do if a death occurs out of town?If a death occurs out of town, call Bitner Family Funeral Homes as soon as possible. Because we are skilled in handling out of town deaths, we can quickly and easily transport your loved one to the Harrisburg area. It is much less expensive to involve only one funeral home in final arrangements. Therefore, if you intend to use Bitner Family Funeral Homes for services, you should call us first. We will handle all the transportation arrangements and file the proper legal documents.
